We are just a few hours away from the final regular season game of the 2018 season. It is bittersweet for the Denver Broncos fans as we wish we would have seen them in the playoffs. But with how rough the last two seasons have been, it probably is for the best.
With this being the final game, we look to Madden to see how it plays out in the regular season finale. The first quarter ended up going scoreless as both teams punted on their first possession. Los Angeles’ second possession ran a lot of clock and they would get a touchdown.
Denver would respond with a field goal. On the Chargers next possession, Phillip Rivers would take a deep shot that was just short. However, it was long enough for Bradley Roby to easily intercept it. But just a few plays later, Casey Hayward made a spectacular play and intercepted Case Keenum.

Los Angeles would get a touchdown right at the two minute warning. They would take a 14-3 lead at the half. But Denver would come swinging in the second half. Case Keenum drove the Broncos down the field and would end with a touchdown strike to Matt LaCosse. Keenum would then take it in himself for two points. The Chargers lead is down to three.
From there on, there was not a lot going on. Denver would get close, but did not get a lot going and it resulted in two more field goals from Brandon McManus, one of which was kicked with 47 seconds remaining in the game.
With poor clock management, the Chargers were unable to get into field goal range to tie it and the Denver Broncos would come out victorious.
