The Anaheim Ducks finally broke their third losing streak on Wednesday night against the Vancouver Cancuks and are looking to carry that momentum into their game tonight against the Boston Bruins. Although the same issues were glaringly obvious during Wednesday nights game, the team looked more alive than they have all season.

San Diego Gulls goaltender, Kevin Boyle, had his first NHL start on Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks. In an amazing display of exemplary skills, the 26-year-old goaltender had his first career shutout as well, saving 35 shots on goal through the night.
He has had impressive showing both times he has been in net for the Anaheim Ducks. He came to the relief of Chad Johnson during their most recent game with the Philidelphia Flyers, saving 24 of 26 shots. While we only have a two-game sample size, he has made a much stronger case for himself to be the next backup for John Gibson.Boyle is projected to be in net tonight with both John Gibson and Chad Johnson being out to injury.
